زكاة الفطر يجب إخراجها قبل صلاة العيد تعطى زكاة الفطر بهدف الإطعام بشكل أساسي بعد شهر الصوم شهر رمضان. ويجوز اخراجها خارج البلد، وتعطى للفئات الثمانية الوارد ذكرهم في القرآن الكريم كما هو الحال في زكاة المال،لمن لقوله تعالى: (إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقاتُ لِلفُقَراءِ وَالمَساكينِ وَالعامِلينَ عَلَيها وَالمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلوبُهُم وَفِي الرِّقابِ وَالغارِمينَ وَفي سَبيلِ اللَّـهِ وَابنِ السَّبيلِ فَريضَةً مِنَ اللَّـهِ وَاللَّـهُ عَليمٌ حَكيمٌ) سورة التوبة- آية
